I will give the players a world, and present a number of conflicts, and the players may choose their own side and approach to the game. But essentially, your characters will be going about their every day lives and begin to accumulate magical abilities. They will be pulled into a world of intrigue and inter-dimensional travel.

Like... what does "wisdom" really mean? How clumsy do I have to be before I'm a 2 in dexterity? Where does the ability to carry TVs for extended periods fall on this scale of strength?

2011-06-19 [Mira Ravenheart]: Thanks [Evolution X], that is exactly the point :). With regards to the Wisdom etc, don't worry about that too much. They are just there to get you thinking about your character's strength and weaknesses so that you end up with a balanced character. Otherwise, these numbers will not be used. I will add more detail in the character form in the next few days to try to clarify. ^^

2011-07-29 [Talos Cyrion]: they are amazing against orks...something about watching 45 models vanish before combat even begins is just...spectacular, that an the look of horror on peoples faces is priceless. I only run them in apocalypse games only cause that's when i can wreak havoc on reserves and run rings around hordes. Blood Angels are better suited for smaller games cause people can't keep up with them unless they are Dark Eldar (which i hate...then again i despise eldar in general) but that's what Death Company are for

Zeo, if you're worried, maybe you should have Evo or someone who you know IRL run it together with you. My ex and I ran an rp together and it worked really well because we could talk about it in person and we were both on the same page. It makes things run much smoother when one person can't be online for a while.
